• 4001A - Safety Orientation (12 min): Most injuries occur to new employees or employees transferred to new tasks. This video meets Fed-OSHA requirements for training in general hazards as well as guarding, personal protection, accident reporting, and more.

 

• 4002A - Hazard Communication (10 min): Compliance with the hazard communication standards       requires specific training in chemicals and hazardous materials found in the workplace. This video details the use of   materials safety data sheets, labels, and chemical information.

 

• 4003A - Safe Lifting (10 min): Back injuries are a significant problem in most industries, which could cost a business lost productivity and workers' comp claims. This video explains the function of the back, proper lifting techniques, and related demonstrations.

 

• 4004A - Eye Protection (14 min): The potential for eye injury in the plant is high. This video details the     requirements for eye protection, scenarios, and types of protection available.

 

• 4005A - Hearing Conservation (13 min): With all the sources of noise, employees need to understand how to protect one of their most precious senses. This videos explains the basics of hearing and how to protect it.

 

• 4007A - Fit Testing Respirators (10 min): To be effective, respirators must fit properly. This video explains of respirators and how to properly utilize this important safety tool.

 

• 4008A - Human Behavior: Reducing Unsafe Acts (12 min): The vast majority of accidents in the workplace are caused, in whole or in part, by the unsafe acts of employees. The emphasis of this video is reducing unsafe acts triggered by human behavior through education and awareness.

 

• 4009A - Heat Stress (11 min): Employees working around molten metal are frequently exposed to heat stress. Heat stress not only slows production, but is a medical emergency. This video identifies the signs, symptoms, and prevention of this silent killer.

 

• 4010A - Forklift Operator Safety (14 min): Anyone working a forklift must be trained. This video meets Fed-OSHA training requirements for forklifts. It explains engineering principles, safe operating procedures, and operator maintenance.

 

• 4011A - Cranes, Chains, Slings, and Hoist Safety (12 min): Lifting heavy items is a fact of operation in a foundry. So is the safe use of chains, slings and hoists. This video explains the inspection, safety procedures, sling angles, and proper rigging techniques.

 

• 4012A - Portable Grinders and Abrasive Wheel Safety (12 min): Grinders and abrasive wheels are common in the shop, but are also very dangerous. This video explains the safe use procedures, safety precautions, and maintenance of these tools.

 

• 0000A - Lead in the Workplace (10 min): Lead is a very deadly substance.  Foundry workers learn more about lead and how to keep safe when working with this material. 

 

• 0000B - Storm Water Training Video (18 min): The video covers standard foundry procedures and situations where workers' duties can impact storm water.  The Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan or SWPPP, Best Management Practices or BMPs, and specific cases where contamination may occur - as well as ways to mitigate these contamination sources - are detailed in the program.  Sampling procedures and information are also covered.
